We're interested in
the role mentoring plays in academic success and if/how academics are trained
in mentoring. Please reflect on your experiences as both mentor and mentee. If
you have not been a mentor, think about what kind of mentor you would be. After
collecting a little general information about you, this online survey consists
of 30 short answer and multiple choice questions and should take 15-20 minutes to complete. All questions are in

attitudes towards mentoring and common mentoring practices in STEM fields.
Taking part in this survey is completely voluntary. If you choose to take the
survey you can withdraw at any time.
Your responses will be kept strictly confidential and digital data will
be stored in secure computer files. Other than basic demographic data (age,
gender, etc.), no identifying information will be collected. Any report of this
research that is made available to the public will not include any individual
information by which you could be identified.
